What is the rule set de jour for renaissance these days? FOG-R seems to have disappeared. I know DBR gets a run and Iíve heard of Baroque, but played neither.

The problem with FoGR was that the cretins in the UK were whinging about v1.10 which is the last version we were playing.

They proposed to do a partial rewrite, some of which looked quite reasonable, except they decided to do this by committee and then it collapsed.

Haven't heard anything about this for over a year now.

I really liked FOGR, it looked "right" and played relatively fast.

Looking forward to having Michael teach me Baroque - you're more than welcome to heckle.

I like it. Rules are relatively straightforward and dice for combat feels good (typically ~3-10 dice for shooting and close combat). Will post some photos later in the week.
